Breeding

Like most rainbow fish, Wanam rainbowfish are quite easy to breed. Add a spawning mop for the eggs, this will need to be moved to another tank when they are laid as the parents will try to eat them. When feeding the fry, they will be too small for most foods, offer them Infusoria or vinegar eels.

Short description

Glossolepis wanamensis prefer a heavily planted tank with good water quality, plenty of plants should be added to replicate their natural surroundings.
