Propagation
This plant propagates by lateral shoots. Due to the size of this plant it is easiest to divide a clump of the plant into smaller pieces and then re-plant these. New clumps of this plant are often secured to rocks or slate to form carpets in the aquarium.

Short Description
This plant has to be the most common for planted tank enthusiasts who wish to create something different. It can be attached to rocks or wood to create some amazing aquascaping. New shoots will always grow upwards so it will need trimming on a regular basis to keep it in shape. It is sometimes used as a floating plant, this is more common in fry rearing tank, where the fry need the cover.
