Propagation
These are a very easy plant to propagate. Simply take cuttings from the mother plant and remove the bottom leaves from the cutting. Carefully place the cutting into the substrate taking care not to crush the stem and this should then form roots and grow into a new plant. This species of plant is also believed to produce runners in the wild to propagate.

Difficulty
This plant is easy to grow if the correct lighting levels are used in the aquarium.

Short Description
This species closely resembles the Eleocharis acicularis but it does grow a lot taller. They are not a demanding plant but do require nutrients in the substrate.
