This plant is a cultivar from Echinodorus Ozelot

Propagation
This is a very easy plant to propagate, they are a rhizome plant so to obtain more plants from it just cut pieces off the rhizome, these will then generate into new plants. Always make sure that when the rhizome pieces are re-planted that they are not completely submerged into the substrate, if they are the rhizome will rot.

Short Description
This plant display dark red spots on reddish brown leaves. As the leaves age they will turn to a basic green but the mixture of the two colourations makes for a great display. They are undemanding apart from requiring nutrients in the substrate and are very hardy in the aquarium but to get the correct growth rate, always supply the right level of lighting.
