Short Description
This plant was formally known as Cryptocoryne costata but this name is rarely used nowadays. It is available in two varieties, one will have light green leaves, and the other will display a red-brown colouration with dark flecks. It is not as hardy as some of the other Cryptocoryne species and does require a lot of nutrients in the substrate. It takes a while to acclimatise into the aquarium and it is prone to “Crypt melt” during this time but once established it is easy to grow.
