Lighting Requirements
These plants have low lighting requirements but can tolerate all levels. They are often planted in the shade of taller plants.

Propagation
These are very easy to plant to propagate. They are a rhizome plant, this can be split into smaller pieces and new plants will grow from these. When planting the rhizome make sure that it is not completely buried in the substrate or it will rot.

Difficulty
This plant is very easy to care for in the aquarium. They can tolerate a wide range of water parameters and should never need cutting back.

Short Description
This plant has long slender leaves that are a dark green; this provides a perfect contrast against the paler greens of other plants. They are not the easiest species of Anubias to find available but well worth buying if you can.
