Short description
The horse face loach becomes active at night and spends most of the daylight hours partially buried in the substrate. They prefer subdued lighting, so the addition of floating plants would be ideal. Adult sizes can reach 12 inches, so these fish are not for small tanks. Live plants should only be added to the aquarium if potted as they do root around in the substrate a lot.
