Information about care
Food and feeding
To keep these fish happy they will require a diet comprising of plenty of live or frozen foods. They will accept blood worms, micro worms and brine shrimp. They will sift through the substrate looking for food so adding copepods and rotifers to the tank will definitely benefit these fish.

Origin
These fish are found in India, Malaysia and Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines.

Sexing
There are no visible differences between the sexes.

Breeding
As of yet there are no reported cases of these breeding in the aquarium.

Lifespan
The expected lifespan of this fish is 3-5 years.

Short description
This is a new species to the aquarium hobby; they should be kept in a brackish set up, the salinity needs to be set at 1.005. Use sand for the substrate as they will spend a lot of time sifting through looking for food and add pieces of bogwood or rock formations to create caves and hiding places for them.
