Information about care
Food and feeding
These fish will accept all foods offered such as quality flake and live or frozen foods. They have a great liking for bloodworms and algae wafers but make sure that they get their share as well as the other tank mates.

Origin
South America; these fish are found in the Rio Ambyiacu, Peru.

Sexing
When viewed from above, the females will have a plumper body shape than the males.

Breeding
Most Corydoras will breed in the aquarium but unfortunately these are one of the species that have not been successful as of yet.

Lifespan
The expected life span for this fish is 3-5 years.

Short description
Always keep these fish in small groups and provide them with hiding places. They are very peaceful so never keep them with aggressive fish. They are labyrinth fish so will need access to the water surface to breathe. They will be most active in the evening.
