Information about care
Food and feeding
The Pink Corydoras will accept all foods offered, use quality flake or catfish pellets supplemented with algae wafers. They love treats of blood worms and brine shrimp, but these should only be given twice weekly.

Origin
South America; these fish are found in the Rio Meta, Colombia.

Sexing
When viewed from above, the females will have a stockier body shape and be slightly larger.

Breeding
Add fine leaved plants to the breeding tank and start performing regular water changes with slightly, cooler water. This should trigger the spawning. When the eggs are laid, they will be scattered about the tank and at this stage it is best to remove the parents. After a week they should hatch and a couple of days later, the fry should be free swimming. Feed them with Infusoria or micro worms initially and a few days later they should accept newly hatched brine shrimp.

Lifespan
The expected life span for this fish is 5-6 years.

Short description
As with all Corydoras, these fish should be kept in small groups to make them feel at ease. They are very peaceful and make great tank mate sin a community set up.
