Short Description
Jordans Catfish is not a good species for the average aquarist to keep. This fish can get up to 2 feet in length so they require a very large aquarium to swim in. When young this catfish can live in freshwater but adults should be kept in brackish or salt water to avoid skin diseases. Unlike most catfish, these are not nocturnal; they will forage for food all day long. Be extra careful when handling this fish because their dorsal spines are poisonous if it punctures your skin.
