Propagation
This plant will send out runners from the mother plant forming a rich green carpet over the substrate. It can spread quite quickly if given the right conditions and may need trimming back after a while.

Short Description
This plant is definitely a favourite in many of the planted set ups as it forms a rich green carpet. This is achieved if the lighting levels are high; if too low the plant will become long and leggy. Adding Iron into the substrate will benefit the growth. Initial planting should be in small clumps set quite close together and never plant this in the shade of other plants. They prefer acidic water and the addition of CO₂ will benefit these.
