Propagation
This plant will send runners through the substrate and plantlets will appear along the length of the runner. Once roots have established, the plantlets can be separated from the mother plant. When initially planting these in the aquarium they should be placed 2cm apart.

Short Description
This is a great plant for creating a green carpet in the aquarium. To get a more compact growth the plants should be placed in pots or create a boundary from rocks to prevent the runners from spreading too far. They do not like to be placed underneath taller plants as this can restrict their growth. Ensure that the substrate is full of nutrients as it is the roots that feed the plant.
