This plant is a cultivar from other Echinodorus species.

Propagation
This is a very easy plant to propagate, they are a rhizome plant so to obtain more plants from it just cut pieces off the rhizome, these will then generate into new plants. Always make sure that when the rhizome pieces are re-planted that they are not completely submerged into the substrate, if they are the rhizome.

Short Description
This is a very hardy plant that does not demand too many special needs to keep it happy. It has been cultivated by hybridising Echinodorus schluteri and Echinodorus barthii. It displays dark spots on its reddish-brown leaves; these are more noticeable on the newer leaves and unlike some of the other Echinodorus species, the spots do not fade under lower lighting levels.
