Short description

As Bagarius suchus is such a voracious predator, it is best kept as a single specimen in the tank; any tank mates will be preyed on and eaten. Use sand as a substrate and add rocks or wood to provide hiding places for the fish as they are most active in the evening hours. Use subdued lighting, the addition of floating plants will provide shady areas.
