This plant is not fussy about lighting requirements. They are quite happy under bright lighting but will grow just as quick under dimmer lighting.

Propagation
These are very easy to plant to propagate. They are a rhizome plant, this can be split into smaller pieces and new plants will grow from these. When planting the rhizome make sure that it is not completely buried in the substrate or it will rot. Often this species is seen attached to bogwood etc. and will grow just as well as if planted in the substrate.
