Short Description
This plant is also used as a border plant for ponds, it can survive in and out of water but if using it as a terrestrial plant make sure that it is kept in moist soil all of the time. It will only flower if partially submerged.

This isn’t a true submerged aquarium plant, is it? I thought it was a bog plant that MUST have open air at least part of the time or it would die and pollute your aquarium badly.

Of course, it must have open air. That’s why the open aquariums are needed for this plant.
