This fish is known as Blue And Yellow Grouper and the correct latin name is Epinephelus flavocaeruleus. The family that this marine fish species belongs to is called the Grouper family. (e) Origin of this species is Indian Ocean. (e)
Blue And Yellow Grouper can grow up to 90 cm what is approximately 35 inches. So 1 specimen requires at least 10800cm2 of water surface which is approximately 1674 square inch. We recommend you to keep it in fish tanks which are very large. (e) Medium aquariums have at least 113 Litres (30 US Gallons). Large aquariums have at least 265 Litres (70 US Gallons). Very large aquariums hold at least 700 Litres (185 US Gallons).
It is not very difficult to keep the Blue And Yellow Grouper fish. (e) The specific gravity (SG) should be between 1,020 and 1,025, the temperature between 23°C (73.4°F) and 26°C (78.8°F). The suggested level of pH (a measure of the acidity/basicity) is between 8.0 and 8.3 which is usual for most marine fish.
This fish is not suitable for home tanks due to it’s size.

I've got one of these. He's approx fifty cm, and would wear a seventy us gallon tank like an overcoat. He's currently residing in a nine hundred litre tank and I often wonder if that's big enough. Tankmates are thirty cm Emperor snapper, seventy cm Epaulette Shark and forty cm Madagascar pygmy nurse Shark. The fish is a great character and eats like a dustbin, and very rewarding to keep. I do however, strongly disagree with your advise on tank size, as in my opinion, if you put this fish into a seventy us gallon tank it would kill it due to the combination of stress and stunted growth. Sorry if this seems harsh, but I'm a fish dealer who is fed up of seeing far too many stunted fish because they are kept in inadequate conditions.
